Een geniale, maar autistische dokter...
In ‘The Good Doctor’ speelt acteur Freddie Highmore de jonge autistische arts dr. Shaun Murphy die van het platteland van Wyoming naar San Jose verhuist om daar in een prestigieus ziekenhuis zijn specialisatie tot chirurg af te ronden. Een aantal van zijn nieuwe collega’s is zeer sceptisch over zijn komst vanwege zijn autistische stoornis.
